Our Story
The Polytropon Institute was founded by three PhDs in Classics who met in graduate school at Stanford University, where a love for studying Greco-Roman antiquity brought them together. Their studies and shared interests inspired them to found a teaching institute to share their passions and expertise in everything the study of the ancient mediterranean world has to offer rising scholars.
